I feel like Z1 have been using the community as Ginny pigs. No offence but Z1 have grown over the years and yes you have helped the community in some ways and hopefully it’s been more for the better. But I feel that with growing Z1 has lost sight of being there for the customer and more just the bottom line and being in it for the money $$$$. Perhaps that is part of the cost of doing businesses or maybe it’s just poor leadership. Granted the original concept of the 58mm TB was excellent and I am sure hundreds of people flocked to them I know I did. Maybe the idea was rushed without proper testing and as you have claimed lack of QC. If proper testing was conducted perhaps it was conducted with TB’s that where pick of the litter and the remaining where sold off to the general populous or as a 3ZC group buy. Similar to the problematic silicone turbo oil return lines, Power steering J hose, Power steering returns hose and other failed products that have vanished from the Z1 web pages. Granted Z1 did man up and send me a replacement set of silicone oil return lines no questions asked with a Teflon lining inside and I do thank you for that. However when I called to request a replacement set of TB because I was not going to play a game of chance I was told that they had installed hundreds of sets in house with no major issues. I was not satisfied with what they had told me and I was still reluctant to install them on my Z. Bottom line Z1 has did some good for the community in the past but I feel that they will not survive much longer if they do not take care of the customers. Word of mouth travels fast and I know the anti AMS movement is in gear. Get out of bed with AMS and man up and take care of your customers before they all migrate elsewhere. I am not trying to bash Z1 I have a hand full of good experiences with them in the past too but for every good one I can think of one bad one from a local Z owner I have helped out. I will continue to send my money hard earned money elsewhere until Z1 cuts the ties with AMS and starts putting their customers and the Z community first. Ok I am finished I think I need another drink.
